Early Childhood Education for Ages 15 Months – 5 Years
Orca Children’s Center is a licensed preschool conveniently located in Seattle’s Phinney Neighborhood Center. Our committed teaching staff emphasizes engaging children through fun and learning activities that teach and promote independence, family, friendship, community, and diversity. We provide a developmentally appropriate, individualized education in a warm and nurturing environment focusing on socio-emotional, cognitive, and physical development. All of our teachers have stars credits and certificates in Early Childhood Education.
Our goals are to:
Encourage problem solving and thinking skills
Increase independence
Teach appropriate socialization skills
Build awareness of the physical world, encouraging curiosity and discovery
Help develope small and large muscle skills
Promote cooperative communication skills
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. We currently have openings in our Sun Room (ages 3-5 years). Our Moon Room (ages 15 months - 2 years) is full, but you can contact us to add your name to the waiting list. Please contact us for more information.
